Lunch at FRANCEYA terroir de Munakata
This restaurant launched here in 2010, 35 years after the original FRANCEYA opened in Yokohama, to focus on local production for local consumption, using local seafood sourced from the Genkai Sea and vegetables produced in Munakata and Fukutsu. However, the menu remains authentic French cuisine. In fact, the French word "terroir" expresses the chef's desire to "create French cuisine suited to the land of Munakata."

At this modern inn, you can immerse yourself in the life of a small Japanese fishing island, interact with friendly locals, eat homestyle meals, and savor the peacefully quiet island atmosphere. Let your stress melt away as you relax to the sounds of the crashing waves, smell the fresh ocean breeze, and feel the sunshine on your face.
