Seaside Momochi Beach Park

Seaside Momochi Beach Park is a roughly 2.5- kilometer (1.6-mile) long man-made, white sand beach park facing Hakata Bay. Fukuoka Tower (the tallest seaside tower in Japan) rises up as a landmark along the waterfront with its modern cityscape, while Marizon (a shopping mall located in the middle of the park on the ocean) features restaurants and a marine sports store. The park is gaining popularity as a resort area in the heart of the city. On holidays, many who enjoy marine sports, families, and couples visit the the park. There is also a wedding chapel nearby.
