Koyama Shoryudaikannon

Koyama in the northern part of former Hakimachi rises this statue of Guanyin and dragon at its foot. 28 meters in height, the monument symbolizes good luck, fortune, and financial blessings. Many come here to pray for a fulfilling and meaningful life. It is the largest of its kind for a shoryu kannon (Guanyin with a rising dragon). The monument was funded entirely by a group of individuals including a local business owner named Mr. Hayashi who had obtained a vision of Guanyin in his dream to erect this idol.
