Kiyomizu Park

Kiyomizu Park lies on the hillside of Mount Kiyomizu, where visitors can observe the far-off Mount Unzen in Nagasaki over the Ariake Sea. The park is a famous place for cherry blossom viewing in the spring, providing all the beauty nature has to offer! Near the park there are historical buildings like a three-story pagoda and tower gate where visitors can sense history in the silence of Kiyomizu. Don’t miss the mountain vegetable dishes served in bamboo ware at Kiyomizu’s famous teahouse “Takeya”!
