Kurume Regional Industry Promotion Center

Kurume Kasuri or Kurume cloth is an important intangible cultural property, which has its own museum. Valuable exhibits are on display; including the glasses of the founder of Kurume Kasuri, Inoue Den. The first floor has become a comprehensive exhibition, with a variety of exhibitions. There are also classrooms and meeting rooms. There are also vendors selling
local handicrafts such as lacquer from the southern Chikugo region. Videos from the region can also be seen and there is also a demonstration on how to make Kurume Kasuri.
