Mystery Spot Goya Limestone Cave

Limestone caves are formed by erosion of limestone by underground water and the like and Goya Limestone Cave in the Natsuyoshi region is one of them.
The first cave of Goya Limestone Cave is designated as a natural monument of Fukuoka Prefecture and approximately 170 m from the entrance is maintained as a discovery course. You can enjoy the unique eroded formations of the limestone cave such as eroded notches.
There are also wild bakuchinoki (Prunus zippeliana) shrubs growing around the entrance.
Entrance is free. Switch on the lights yourself as you enter the First Cave.
