Spring Festival at Suitengu Shrine
A Spring Festival is held annually from May 3 through 7 at Suitengu Shrine in Kurume (the head shrine for all Suitengu Shrines in Japan). The shrine bustles with worshippers and visitors praying to water gods as well as for smooth childbirth, protection from floods and children’s protection during the festival.
