A lot of people visit Shiraito Falls to get away from the summer heat every year. Shiraito Falls is located halfway up Mt. Haganeat(900m), with 24 meters high. As it is designated one of the scenic beauty spots in Fukuoka pref., you must be impressed by its overwhelming scenary. The opening is an exchange event praying for safety during the summer　of the year.　There are many enjoyable events of the powerful drum performance by a loal group, Mochimaki (rice cake scattering) , Somen Nagashi (sliding noodles) and Yamame fishinig. You can also enjoy hydrangea blooming of 5,500 stumps in June and July, planted by a local club.
