Kawasaki Town Produce Stand De Ai

De Ai is a produce stand in Kawasaki Town, Tagawa County. The name De Ai is a pet name for this building. It comes from the locals and the producers as it is a place where they can meet and come together. Centering on freshly picked vegetables, fruit, fresh flowers, processed goods using specialty products as well as side dishes are sold here! The pride of Kawasaki Town is Amagi Rice grown with the water from the Ataka River. Customers here can polish rice before taking it home as well as purchase brown rice. Besides the produce stand, there is a bakery, a stall specializing in side dishes and a community plaza inside the premises. At Nahikobatake located next door, events with flowers are held! Depending on the season, guests can see rape blossoms, sunflowers, or cosmos blooming! The terraced rice-fields located up stream of the Ataka River are a sight to see in fall with red spider lilies blooming! The color contrast is beautiful! Come and see for yourself!
