VISIT FUKUOKA

Blueberryno Village (Blueberry Village)

Sitting on an expansive property is Blueberry Village in the midst of the rich mother nature in Kitanomachi, Kurume City. The blueberry picking season goes on from July to August for just 500yen for an adult, 200yen for a child. No wonder why this is such a popular event – it’s all-you-can-eat with no time limit once you enter the garden. Rich in polyphenol and anthocyanin, blueberries are known to be a great remedy for fatigue for your body and your eyes. The garden offers berries grown via an unique, one-pot for one-stock cultivation system with minimal pesticide use in order to cultivate them as naturally and organically as possible.
The Village offers various other amenities such as Café Blueberrya, serving the garden’s original sweets. The souvenir shop and food vendor feature jams, wines, pasta, and traditional Japanese sweets, making it convenient for visitors to take a quick break as they reap through the garden.
