Opened in 1999, Kaikyo Plaza is a commercial complex with the concept of “a market full of romance that invokes the half-forgotten comfort of the heart.” On the first floor, there is a market stocked with various goods, such as souvenirs that can only be purchased at the facility, local seafood, general merchandise, and sweets. On the second floor, there are restaurants where fresh seafood from the Kanmon Strait and great views can be enjoyed, as well as a music box store and a glass figurine store.
