Chayu (oil with green tea) (120 grams / 600 yen) is a new buzzed-about product using green tea, the specialty of Joyo Town, and only available at the Hotaru to Ishibashi no YAKATA. Thanks to the green tea, it has a clean finish. Besides, the catechin contained in the tea leaf holds back the spicy flavor of red pepper attracting people with the appropriate spiciness. Since Chayu also contains turmeric grown in Joyo, it may be effective in treating indigestion. It is a masterpiece widely utilizable as topping of rice, nibbles, all-around seasoning and so on.
