Heart-shaped Washbasin of Marriage

It is said that this was made in the middle of the Edo period, filled with wishes that famine would not occur.
The basin looks like a heart but it was originally meant to be shaped like a hollyhock leaf.Word of mouth spread about this location and it became a ”marriage spot” which has been visited by young women.
