Beautiful frost-covered trees in winter at Mt. Hikosan
Mt. Hikosan receives lots of snowfall in winter. There are numerous days where the temperature is below freezing, and you can also see ice crystals. You can see beautiful frost-covered trees during this time.
Bessho parking lot (Front Trailhead) ~ Nakadake (Hikosan Upper Shrine) ~ Minamidake ~ Nakadake ~ (Front Trailhead) ~ Bessho parking lot. Total walking time is about 3 1/2 hours. Altitude 1,199m, about 6.6km long.

so you please be sure to put chains etc. on your car to drive safely.
