Nyoirinji Temple, known as Kaerudera (Frog Temple)

Recently, within the precincts of Nyoirinji Temple, known as ”Kaerudera” (Frog Temple), over 5,000 frogs will welcome you. In addition, you can enjoy the scenery in each of the four seasons, such as cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, new green leaves in spring, autumn leaves, and so on. ”Nyoi” means things go freely, at will, the way one wants, so it is believed that the Kannon here will make everyone’s wishes turn out the way they want them to.
