Apple picking in Fukuoka
Did you know that apples can also be picked in Fukuoka?
When it comes to apples, I think the image of cold regions like Aomori and Nagano is strong but approximately 7000 apple trees are grown in Kama City, Fukuoka Prefecture, on a large land area of 10 hectares. Thanks to the length of sunshine hours and the temperate climate, the harvest time is early and the sugar content is high. There is also rich variety and they can be enjoyed over a long season. In addition to purchasing apples, you can also experience apple picking.
