Boosts your fortune Hakozaki-gu Wakide-ishi
Hakozaki-gu’s primary enshrined deity is Emperor Ojin, and Empress Jingu and Tamayori-hime are also enshrined here. The shrine is also called Hakozaki Hachiman-gu; the shrine is counted as one of Japan’s Three Great Hachiman-gu shrines, alongside Usa-jingu (located in Usa City, Oita Prefecture) and Iwashimizu Hachiman-gu (located in Hachiman City, Kyoto) There is a legend about the ’wakide-ishi’ (welling-up rock) on the premises; this legend states that ’it shall show its form above ground when grave matters are occurring in the country.’ It’s said that your luck will ’well up’ if you touch this rock, which draws numerous shrine visitors praying for their good fortune.
